The Wembley
Steeped in history, The Wembley Hotel, established in 1932 was the first two storey building in Wembley. The beautiful historic Federation and Art Deco building has been classified by the National Trust for its architectural significance.
The history of The Wembley Hotel has been well documented over the years and its beginnings saw many a traveller come to visit. The Wembley was the terminus tram stop before holiday makers would make their way down the old Plank Road, now known as Oceanic Drive, to the beach. Plank Road was the first road built from Perth to the beach.
The Wembley has always been a popular place to meet with locals and visitors alike and is ingrained as an industry icon. Over the years, The Wembley has evolved to be one of Perth’s greatest iconic neighbourhood bars.
